Sawaporn Beats Male Rights Group (pg 13, issue #8)

Sawaporn is hired at a local feminist porn store owned by a woman from Pakistan. Sawaporn walks to the store for her first day of work and is confronted by a group of Men's Rights Activists outside in the parking lot. The M.R.A. group is protesting the store. Sawaporn asks why the M.R.A.s are protesting the feminist porn store and one of them explains that they're opposed to feminist porn because they believe women will not have sex with them if they're satisfied with porn and masturbation. The M.R.A.'s claim this is "a violation of their pursuit of happiness." Sawaporn goes into the store and eventually comes out with a baseball bat to beat the M.R.A. group members with. She just happens to come out of the store when a couple of M.R.A.s are attempting to rape a female customer and ranting about how they've finally captured an "oppressor." By the end of the page, she is reacquainted by a former belligerent ignorant coworker from her previous job who has joined the group.  Sawaporn's Pakistani boss Farah is in the upper left corner of the page.

This is a page from a long-running graphic novel series about a woman named Sawaporn. This is page 13 from issue #8. I have completed seven issues as of July 14, 2013. Sawaporn is an independent skeptical atheist feminist who has immigrated from Bangkok, Thailand to Bloomington, Illinois. The entire series is solely from her perspective as she tries to survive each day and is forced to experience extreme racism, sexism and hyper-misogyny (including the pants-shitting MRA's), classism, groups of conspiracy theory nuts, and much more ignorance and insanity. The marks on her cheeks are scars.
